TREATMENT OF TOXEMIA/DIARRHEA IN CATTLETreatment is empirical and based upon symptoms until cause of disease has been established. Water and electrolyte losses are corrected and oral supplement of, e.g., activated charcoal and tannic acid are indicated for binding foreign substances and contracting the damaged enteric mucosa.
